"’Three Kings’ is the first image that launched my ongoing streetball project. I was working with a close friend of mine on a documentary about NYC hoops. Making this image in my own neighborhood of Bed-Stuy got me interested in shooting streetball. This image was taken in the summer of 2012, after I had finally come home for good following my time in the United States Marine Corps.”-Anthony Geathers
